Project Freedom is a non-profit organization that develops and operates barrier-free housing to enable individuals with disabilities to live independently. Supportive services such as recreation, training and advocacy are provided.

In addition to being a developer of accessible, affordable housing, Project Freedom also provides supportive services, whereby self-directed people with disabilities can live independently in a non-medical environment.

September 20: October 25: Rep. Christopher H. Smith will receive the 2008 June Ronan Angel Award to be presented at the Project Freedom Dinner Dance Gala on Oct 25, 2008. Dinner Committee members met with Rep Smith to discuss plans for the dinner.
