SETTING

Nestled on the outskirts of Woodstown (Salem County) NJ, between Bailey Street and Alloway Road, Freedom Village at Woodstown is a lovely area to live independently with plenty of fresh air, a park, playground and lake nearby for all to enjoy.  This 60 unit housing complex will consist of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom rental apartments. All apartments are barrier-free and feature accessible kitchens and bathrooms with lowered light switches, central heat/air conditioning. Freedom Village at Woodstown consists of five – two story apartment buildings with 12 units in each. Each building has its own laundry facility and lounge area along with an elevator. All of the units are fire protected with sprinkler systems.   There is also a community center that has administrative and maintenance offices along with a larger great room for tenant activities. Transportation available through New Jersey Transit buses and, for those who qualify, New Jersey Transit’s Access Link.  The NJ Transit bus route is located on Route 45 (approximately ½ mile away).  There is auto access to Route 40, 45, 130, NJ Turnpike, & I-295 and ample parking on-site.

A full-time Social Service Coordinator will be on-site to assist tenants with community living by providing news and information relevant to tenants’ interests and needs.  Services include planning tenant meetings, recreation and social events for Freedom Village at Woodstown.  The Social Service Coordinator will not provide direct care support services but can assist tenants in coordinating services for their individual support needs.  Tenants will be responsible for arranging their personal support needs for independent living.
